I see several UTMC doctors and so far haven't met one that I didn't like!

Wow! Nothing but great things to say about the Transplant team at UTMC. From the moment we arrived on a Saturday at 6:30am to checkout at 4pm on Tuesday, we were treated with the utmost care and compassion. Dr. Ekwenna was a great surgeon along with all the residents that helped and gave updates to my family while they waited, while in recovery, the nurses (Fatima, Crystal, Corrina and Shayla) were all amazing and deserving of the highest praises! The facility was clean, the food service made me never want to leave and I cannot thank them all enough for giving me the gift of life. Please give this hospital an opportunity when you are looking for transplant options.

I have gone here for over 20 years, the quality of care use to be really good but since then has really gone down hill. Overworked staff and not enough employees, the emergency room always have long wait times. And now they separate cases they either send you to the emergency side or the urgent care side which is a pain. Another thing is now they require you to go through a machine to check you for any weapons. Alot of there new policies have been have been implemented and their just bad policies. The intake. People have always been friendly but feels a bit rushed now. Also it seems like if anyone gets life flighted to this hospital they always end up dieing not sure why.

I started going to the hospital for everything. Long distance but so far all that's got me is heartache and pain. I go to the pain management doctor which is a freaking joke doesn't even they can't even keep anybody there. Every time you go to the doctor somebody new but I had a major back infection due to the doctor pain management trying to do something to get rid of the pain which didn't work but I got MRSA over it at kill ed My summer but now since they're running low on doctors doctor they have now is the one that put my back simulator wrong. Put all the leads in the left hand side when the pain is on the right hand side. 21. Leads not only did the representative for the company quit and move on to other possibilities. This one had to leave his practice in Oregon because of some kind of lawsuit and they want me to go back to him second of all and every time I do anything it takes 3 months to see a doctor. It takes one month to get in there for a procedure which doesn't work to be in with. Now I'm dealing with the urinary tract surgery. I had a fever that day so I tried making a schedule reschedule and then after that was done. I called pain management to make an appointment. T
